Romanian employment rules, guiding & news 5 years agoRomanian companies who pay their employees with significant delay will be fined
Starting today, Romanian companies who do not pay their employees’ salaries on time, and exceed by more than a month the salary payment deadline internally agreed, can be sanctioned with a fine between 5,000 RON and 10,000 RON for each employee paid with delay.

Romanian employment rules, guiding & news 5 years agoRomanian minimum gross salary at national level for year 2022 was increased.
The new minimum gross salary was made official this week through a Government Decision. Specifically, from January 2022, the mandatory minimum gross salary at national level will be of 2,550 Lei, compared to the level of 2,300 Lei, which is valid for year 2021.

Hi Julia, for registering your immigration residence in Romania as a student, the most important is to obtain a document proving that you are attending courses with an dully accredited educational institution in Romania (a school/high-school/college/university dully accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education). In addition to the document proving you are attending a school/high-school/university in Romania, the Romanian Immigration Inspectorate usually require also the following documents for students:
– statement in which you must declare that you have the required minimum financial means to support your stay in Romania;

Once you finalize the application, it will be reviewed by the immigration officers, and you will receive a confirmation by email and will be scheduled to submit the file also in hard copy, to the local Immigration Office in Cluj (I see you are living in Cluj).
